Life in Photos: Mommy and Me May Donut Day

May is for moms. Sure, there's technically only one day named for mothers, but don't you think they deserve a bit more? So do we. That's why we held a mommy and me donut day party, bringing together kids and their families to say thanks for all that their most maternal influencers do. 

We started off our day with a bit of brunch, including coffee and "mom-osas"... virgin or spiked!

Following that, littles were invited to design their own bouquets for mom. The orange, white, and green arrangements picked from our in-house flower garden were beautiful additions to the brunch table!

Speaking of brunch... our special day's spread was courtesy of our vendor friends, BabyMunch Organics and The Vegan Doughnut Company. 

Leanna Miller is the owner of BabyMunch Organics. BabyMunch is the all-natural baby food that moms are proud to serve and babies love to eat. We thought that Leanna would be a great addition to the party, where she came to serve baby smoothies with fun and exciting flavor profiles. BabyMunch strives to Ignite Food Curiosity in infants through the early introduction of fresh fruits and vegetables. It was obvious that the kids loved their smoothies!

Sisters Kyra and Kharisma Mayo of The Vegan Doughnut Company came with a bit more of a toothsome snack: DONUTS!  With the intent to spread love and compassion through cruelty-free doughnuts, Kyra and Kharisma really raised our spirits... everyone was all-smiles after that!

We had so much fun brunching, and we hope you do, too. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, mamas, mums, grandmas, aunts, step moms, and all those who go above and beyond the reasonable duties of any other job. We literally wouldn't be here without you.
