September Fresh Faces
Every month our favorite Flea vendors set sail and plan their return to port Tyler to celebrate their new collections, creations, and new found treasures. In addition to our staple vendors we all love and come out to support each month, are our new vendors! Check back here every month to find out who will be joining our CLE Flea Fleet!
Who they are: Where I'm From produces high-quality, ultra-soft apparel that helps you show off your Cleveland pride! The awesome and creative designs are all unique to different aspects of Cleveland and Northeastern Ohio life!
Why we love them: Ask them about their Savannah James Collection. 100% of all proceeds from the sale of The Savannah James Collection shirts are donated to WOMEN OF OUR FUTURE programs, aimed to inspire, uplift, and support young Akron women through research-based and volunteer-driven interventions.
Team Flea Pick: Their “Cleveland is a friend of mine” tee really hits the spot!
Who they are: Puzzle Pax is a craft beer lifestyle goods company based in beautiful Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and owned and operated by Navy veteran, Gio Attisano.
Why we love them: Sustainable, smart products always make our hearts skip a beat.
Team Flea Pick: Who doesn’t enjoy a good puzzle? We’re loving on Puzzle Pax’s quotable “Beer: It’s Science” bottle carrier. Buy it flat, put it together, start the party… in that order. It’s recommend that you assemble it before you drink the beer!
Who they are: Le studio rad is a little home studio where Rachel Dewey paints magical flowers and plants that will never die - guaranteed to cheer up any wall.
Why we love them: This beauty lasts as long as you decide to keep it on the wall!
Team Flea Pick: Her current project, 100 days of 6x6 paintings, satisfies our love of multiples. We can see a whole wall covered in those lil’ babies!
Who they are: Perfectly Imperfect Produce sells fruits and vegetables that are imperfect on the outside but perfectly fresh on the inside.
Why we love them: Our moms/librarians/every other smart person in our life tried to tell us “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”... and this is the delicious reason why!
Team Flea Pick: Sign up for a weekly, bi-weekly, or single-time delivery of perfectly imperfect produce while you’re at The Flea!
Who they are: 5am Press is the self-publishing moniker of Keith Allen, a professional designer, illustrator and paper engineer from Cleveland Ohio with over ten years professional experience in product design at the greeting card company, American Greetings.
Why we love them: Pop-up books activate more areas of a child’s brain than regular books, making reading fun again for kids with literacy difficulties.
Team Flea Pick: The What a Mess pop-up misadventure book answers the great question all kids ask at some time or another: What would happen if we just made a mass and didn’t clean up? Find out how that story ends when you nab a copy of your own… you can even get Keith to sign it!
Who they are: Jessica Dubis creates handmade jewelry that is influenced by the beauty of nature, featuring fine metals and semi-precious stones.
Why we love them: Wearing one of Jessica’s pieces makes a statement in and of itself… which makes us feel better when all we want to wear is all black, every day.
Team Flea Pick: Her turquoise and hammered brass linear earrings are beautiful accessories to transition your summer wardrobe into your fall look.
Who they are: Hyggelight Candles & Such makes hand-poured soy candles in beautiful ceramic pots that are scented with organic fragrance oils and essential oils.
Why we love them: Their packaging is printed on seed paper! Once you’ve burnt the last of your candle, you can fill the vessel with dirt and plant the label to grow up to thirteen varieties of wildflower.
Team Flea Pick: We’ve chosen the “Clara” candle as our favorite because of it’s mint and rosemary scents. Nothing like a good herbal candle to help improve focus!
