New & Noteworthy: April Flea

Shake off the chill, take off your coat, and make your way to April Flea for our first outdoor event of 2017. Our vendors have been cooped-up for a while, and by the looks of the new merchandise that they’re bringing this month we can say for certain that they’ve had a very fruitful off-season. Enjoy a taste of our fresh Flea finds for April.

Minimalist, geometric, flexible pieces are the highlight of Océanne Jewelry’s spring collection, Prisma. Layer long and short, mismatch metals, and pair with your favorite short-sleeved button-down for increased handsomeness.

Stop by Gina DeSantis Ceramics booth this month to find new vessels for your plant babies. Nestle your flora in beautiful macrame and ceramic hanging planters made with black clay and glazed in fresh green and cream tints.

Spring means it’s time for a patio party. Enjoy your garden in the peace of an April evening with a little wine and some charcuterie and cheese. Serve in style with Cleveland Cuts’ charming cheese knives and cutting boards, available during the first flea of the season!

With all of the ball games on the calendar this season, there’s a high likelihood that a group outing to enjoy America’s favorite pasttime is impending… but don’t forget about baby! Dress the littlest fan of them all in a Cleveland, Baby! Baseball Onesie by Lil’ Burritos, and for those of us who wear a slightly less miniature size, suit up in a Block C baseball tee or raglan from Little Chicago Clothing Co.

By now we all know what the fox says, but can you tell us how that sounds in Korean? Learn a little bit about how other cultures interpret the language of the animal kingdom with SORRY Design’s new 'Onomatopoeia' print.

Is it cold out there in space, Ziggy? This record store day cuddle up with David Bowie-themed plushie nuggets by Cool Critters, and then drop the needle on Space Oddity.

Welcome Spoons & Such for their Cleveland debut by snapping-up a pair of their southwest-inspired stamped sterling silver studs. Flip them up to turn them into ear climbers, or hang them down to upgrade almost any outfit.

Help skin bounce back from winter blues with Revival Body Care’s new Goddess Clay Masks in CALM, DETOX, GLOW and RENEW. Just add ½ tablespoon of the mask to your preferred liquid base and blend into a paste before applying them to your face and neck. Let it dry while you finish that episode of Feud that you’ve been meaning to watch, then rinse and relax.

You know a FOUNT bag when you see it. Their traffic-stopping designs are subtly beautiful, and the new Finley cross body is no different. Similar to it’s clutch cousin, this new handbag features a tassel zip closure, adjustable-length shoulder strap, and a bit more interior depth for storing essentials. Nab the new design in a maroon hue and a black shade during April Flea.

If you’ve been looking for a statement necklace for your spring wedding season, you can rest easy. Odyssey & Oddities has the necklace to fit your needs. With the flexibility to alter its length, this black double-layered necklace made of wooden rondelle beads can transition from Jennifer’s bridal shower in May all the way through her wedding in October.

So much of what we associate with spring is related to scent, which is why we’re excited that Sweet Dish & Darling was able to capture the season all year round in their Earl Grey, White Plum, and Gardenia Blossom candles. Poured into amber glass jars, you can also enjoy the scents on a miniature scale, making them great gifts for wedding guests. Who actually likes Jordan almonds anyways?
