Guide to September Flea

2017_augustseptember_cleflea_styled_web_020.jpg

Join 150 local vendors at The Cleveland Flea on Saturday, September 9 from 9am-4pm.

School’s back in session, which means we’re all about apples, long skirts, dorm decor, and fall sports. Study up in our pop-up book shop to celebrate Cleveland Book Week, which features booths for local booksellers and readings by Cleveland youth authors. Pick-up a classic and stretch out for a plaid picnic and an afternoon of academic indulgence. Sip a spiked tea, swap wine for whiskey, and liven-up your coffee with a spirit! Finally, it’s fall... fill your closet with warm hues to prepare for impending autumn chills. Reds, oranges, blacks, and browns are your friends… invite them into your home with upholstered chairs, woven pillow coverings, bold bar decor, and seasonal prints and wallpaper patterns.

GETTING THERE + PARKING

Need a map or directions? Head over here.

It's best not to drive. Uber. Bus. Bike. Book the Cleveland Brew Bus. But if you do drive, here are a few things to know:

  • If you need to drive, have a look-see at our shopper parking map below! We have negotiated a few free off-street options for places to put your car this season!
  • We have 4 ADA accessible spots at the entrance to The Flea. You'll see them marked.
  • Parking in neighborhood parking lots is at your own risk. If there is a sign posted that you will be towed, you will be towed.
  • Don't park in areas on the street where it says, "No Parking" as you will either be ticketed or towed.
  • There's ample parking if you're ok strolling through our lovely neighborhood.
  • Bought something big? Vendors might be willing to deliver it to you for an extra fee OR we also allow cars to drive in for pick up of large items.
  • We have bike racks for locking up your ride.

Click any green "P" symbol for available lots, and try to avoid parking in lots marked with a red node. Click here to view the map on mobile!

NON-PROFIT PARTNERS

Cleveland is filled with purpose-driven nonprofit organizations and passionate changemakers. We find that inspiring, and we're happy to bring to you our monthly Do-Gooder Series, aimed at connecting you to the causes that make our hearts skip a beat. Support them by purchasing craft cocktails and beer at The Flea Bar, or by donating directly via their own websites. Often times, they'll even have a presence at our events, so don't be shy — let them know you're happy they're here doing good.

Friends of The Cleveland Kennel is our Non-Profit Partner for September Flea. Founded in 2003, Friends of the Cleveland Kennel (F.O.C.K.) is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to provide the necessary medical and general care to the dogs and cats in need at Cleveland Animal Care & Control (CACC), while working to reduce intake numbers and save lives by providing affordable resources and education to Cleveland residents.

Cleveland Animal Care & Control is a high volume animal control facility that receives an average of over 75 dogs a week. Cleveland Animal Control works with local shelters and rescues to transfer dogs out to their programs, while many of the dogs are part of the current adoption program at the kennel, as well. Our organization is committed to providing all the animals that arrive at the kennel with necessary medical care, food, enrichment, and supplies to improve and even save their lives.
