Fresh, New Vendors for July
Every month our favorite Flea vendors set sail and plan their return to port Tyler to celebrate their new collections, creations, and new found treasures. In addition to our staple vendors we all love and come out to support each month, are our new vendors! Check back here every month to find out who will be joining our CLE Flea Fleet!
- Who they are:Culinary professionals who use “Floribian flavors” and all local ingredients to make affordable, Coastal Cuisine that foodies will love. As if that wasn’t enough, The Beachcomber’s are available to cater any of your special events this summer.
- Why we love them: Their culinary creations are sure to delight. From Bacon Cheddar Doughnut Grilled Cheese to Parmesan Truffle Tots everything is delicious and nothing is off limits.
- Team Flea Pick: Their Quinoa Bowl has grilled squash and zucchini, goat cheese, grilled chicken, and brandy balsamic vinaigrette. It’s gluten free and there’s a vegetarian option too.
- Who they are: “Vegan Vicki”, owner of Urban Sweetness, would be no happier than to help you find the vegan version of your favorite comfort food or sweet treat.
- Why we love them: For Vicki, eating vegan is a life or death matter. After changing her diet due to a cancer diagnosis in 2008, Vicki decided to share her delicious and healthy food with others because she knew how important it was to other survivors to focus on health in every facet of life.
- Team Flea Pick: We love cheese, so when a vegan dish does mac ‘n’ cheese better than a dairy-full one, we’re gonna brag about it.
- Who they are: With a focus on the bohemian, Kukuli sells individually curated, small batch, and one of a kind Peruvian textiles both in Cleveland and internationally through direct order.
- Why we love them: By bringing traditional artisan weaving methods into the modern home, Kukuli honors the ancient practices of the Andean people and lends a unique design aesthetic to both traditional and boho living.
- Team Flea Pick: The hand-dyed and woven alpaca and lambswool fibers in their home collection are beautiful, sustainable, and oh-so-soft!
- Who they are: Mavec Collections giftware is exclusively designed by local Cleveland artist Madelaine Mavec. Each design is an original Mavec fine art painting digitally printed to create usable and wearable art.
- Why we love them: Wearing your art on your sleeve is a thing with Mavec Collections. Every piece of Madelaine’s turns you into a walking painting!
- Team Flea Pick: We can’t get enough of their printed weekenders and nylon reusable grocery bags… floral patterns for days!
- Who they are: Bello/a Botanicals is a natural and botanical perfume boutique specializing in the highest quality of beauty essentials.
- Why we love them: Ashley, the owner and sole scent crafter at Bello/a, knows that good smells are not exclusive to women. She creates her perfumes with the idea that every product is unisex, and what makes them different is each individual’s body chemistry.
- Team Flea Pick: Anything in her new biodegradable packaging: deodorant, sunscreen, or insect repellant. Thy won’t harm you, and they won’t harm the environment. We are so down with that!
- Who they are: Inspired by nature and old science fiction, Nancy Luken’s art is anything but ordinary. From wearables to work for your wall, Nancy has it all.
- Why we love them: An artist first, Nancy creates work that isn’t afraid to be itself. We can’t tell if you’re wearing her jewelry, or if her jewelry is wearing you… and we like it.
- Team Flea Pick: We’re already taking stock of her wood prints to curate our own office gallery wall. Retro, smart, and playful, Nancy obviously knows what pushes our buttons!
- Who they are: Illustrator Lucy Williams is the artist behind Boundary & Thorn. Her playful and well-executed designs have graced the likes of consumer paper products, small business interiors/exteriors, self-published books, and professional ad campaigns!
- Why we love them: Boudary & Thorn Illustration work combines fun and stylish traits, a rare and challenging pairing!
- Team Flea Pick: Lucy’s barcart series is the best way to toast to your favorite cocktails… aside from actually drinking them.
- Who they are: Black River Furniture specializes in repurposed and custom built furniture and home decor.
- Why we love them: Their business may only be four years old, but their work shows the craftsmanship of a master.
- Team Flea Pick: Black River Furniture’s barn-style dining table is hefty and can be styled for indoors or outdoors.
- Who they are: Kay-Em Apparel is a clothing and stickers whose designs focus on the history and uniqueness of Cleveland.
- Why we love them: Their designs are iconically CLE… you might start up a conversation with the lady sitting next to you at the bar because OH MY GOD SHE LOVES YOUR SHIRT, WHERE DID YOU GET IT?!
- Team Flea Pick: We love their “Calfs” tshirt design… timely, topical, and perfectly humorous.
- Who they are: Highway Robbery Vintage specializes in authentic vintage apparel and accessories for men and women from the 1950's to early 1990's.
- Why we love them: They curate items that are unique and affordable. Buying vintage pieces that mesh well with the modern day items you already own makes wearing vintage accessible and fun!
- Team Flea Pick: They’ve got a boho red fringed halter dress that makes us feel cool just thinking about it.
- Who they are: Suzy Q’s Redos sells vintage furniture, lighting, and home decor intended to mingle amongst your more modern pieces to breathe new life into things from the past.
- Why we love them: Their houseware merchandise walks the line between fashionable and kitschy… just where feature pieces should be!
- Team Flea Pick: They’ve got the most adorable set of porcelain enamel Turkish coffee pots we’ve ever seen… perfect as a splash of color against white subway tile backsplashes and glass shelves.
