DIRECTIONS + PARKING
Tyler Village (3615 Superior Ave.) is home of the Cleveland Flea during our outdoor season. Located 36 blocks directly east of Public Square, it's easy to find, no matter how you roll.
HOW TO GET HERE: Tyler Village is located on Superior Ave at East 36th Street, just five blocks east of I-90 exit 173C. Need turn-by-turn? Google Maps is our BFF. The address is Tyler Village is at 3615 Superior Ave.
WHERE TO PARK: Like any urban event in any city, parking can be more stressful than abundant. We work with our neighbors to pluck as many spots possible for you. But our #1 recommendation: don't drive. At least not one-by-one. Tyler Village is easy to reach via bike and bus (RTA #1, 3 and 38 drop within one block). Carpooling with family, friends and neighbors is an awesome option. Consider Lyft, Uber or the ridesharing service of your choice too.
If you need to drive, have a look-see at our shopper parking map below! We have negotiated a few free off-street options for places to put your car this season! Click any green "P" symbol for available lots, and try to avoid parking in lots marked with a red node. Ample street parking is also available along Superior and St. Clair Avenues, pretty much from Tyler Village almost to downtown. ADA-compliant handicap parking spaces and drop-off are available at the Tyler Village lot.
Note: Be respectful of all our neighbors. Do not park in the lot of a neighborhood business (open on Saturdays or not), particularly if it's clearly marked "PARKING FOR [OUR] CUSTOMERS ONLY." You can and will likely be towed. If you'd like to be a patron AND park, be a great customer and then ask if you can continue to park after you're done in the shop or restaurant. But be a great customer first. Cool? Cool.
FAQ
1. WHAT IS THE CLEVELAND FLEA?
The Cleveland Flea is a monthly urban treasure hunt that pulls in thousands of Northeast Ohioans to lesser-known neighborhoods in the city. It’s curated vintage meets culinary adventures on the road to the most talented artists and makers in the region. But it’s always been more than just a market. Founded in 2013 by Stephanie Sheldon (Indie Foundry), the Flea started as a way to support the makers, dreamers and creative small businesses that call Cleveland home, while giving shoppers an experience they couldn’t get anyplace else.
The Flea welcomes 140+ vendors and 20,000-30,000 shoppers each month to our Tyler Village home. We consider ourselves matchmakers, connecting Cleveland shoppers with the businesses they love, all in a dreamy and fun way.
2. WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO SHOP THE FLEA?
Totally depends on what kind of shopper you are! Stay tuned to our blog, Facebook page, @ClevelandFlea on Instagram and Twitter for vendor highlights, shopper guides and other resources for making the most of your trip the Flea! Have questions? Tweet @ClevelandFlea or email hello@theclevelandflea.com.
3. WHO RUNS THE CLEVELAND FLEA?
Founded in 2013 by Stephanie Sheldon of Indie Foundry, the Cleveland Flea is run by a small (but so mighty) team of full-time awesome peeps who live, breathe and dream Flea. Laura Drapac is our magical market manager. Elizabeth Flanagan is head of event logistics. Heidi Rolf and Maggie Ress design everything amazing you see. And Stephanie is at the helm, steering the ship toward brilliant tomorrows!
Team Flea organizes the event, vets vendors, recruits shoppers, procures permits and licenses, hires security, removes trash, rents furniture, builds stuff, plays the music, listens to your feedback, markets the market, encourages partnerships and aims to pair shoppers with their new favorite businesses in a fun and dreamy way. Have questions? Email hello@theclevelandflea.com or visit our stand at the next event.
4. WHERE DO I PARK?
Stop. Put yourself in reverse. And back up to the Directions + Parking section above. You flew right past it!
5. WHAT IF I CAN'T FIND A SPOT TO PARK?
Best advice: don't freak out, go home and look wistfully at other people's Instagrams. Take a deep breath and turn onto Superior Avenue toward downtown Cleveland. There's street parking for most of the 36 blocks between Tyler Village and Public Square. Will you have to park 36 blocks away? No. Will you have to parallel park? Probably. We can't guarantee anything, but we're willing to bet you'll nab a spot within 5-7 blocks. Stink at parallel parking? Bike, bus, carpool or start practicing now!
6. DO VENDORS ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
Many Cleveland Flea vendors do accept credit cards, but not all do. Plus: the Flea Bar is CASH ONLY. Need an ATM? Here's a map of all area ATMs (or check with your specific bank).
7. HOW CAN I BECOME A VENDOR AT THE FLEA?
Direct your attention to our Vendor Application and Process. Please check out the application, prep your photos and website and get your biz ready for a killer 2017 application. We look forward to learning more about you and your business! NOTE: Holiday 2017 market applications will be open later this summer.
8. MAY I BRING MY DOG TO THE FLEA?
We love dogs. We absolutely welcome well-behaved dogs at the Flea. We just ask that you keep your furry BFF on a leash!
